畳の素材 『い草』作りにこんな作業が・・・
畳の素材となる『い草』作りでなんと網を使います。これはい草が刈り取られる6月末から7月末までに長いもので約140～150ｃｍ程伸びる為、網目にい草を通して倒れるのを防止します。
弊社グループ会社のイケヒコ・コーポレーションの研修圃場での網掛けの写真です。
ちなみに真ん中に写っている人は新入社員の瀬戸さんです。
